Ixnay on the partment-ay. Chino backed out on me, citing some problem with money....I think his new girl just didn't like the idea of him moving in with a girl but, whatever. I just smiled and nodded, even though the move in date was only a week and a half away at the time, I just told him it was okay...I understand...no problem. No problem? Now what? Then Martin called. I told him what had happened. Tried to keep a smile on my face. Then he asked me to come over that evening...he wanted to talk to me. I wanted to believe that he wanted to ask me to move in with him but good things hardly ever happen to me in any relationship. Sometimes I think he is too good to be true...and I have been fooled by that before. I wish something in me would allow it to just be whatever it's supposed to be. So I agree...hoping for the best but fully expecting the worst (something I now realize I learned from my father). He greets me at the door with a kiss. Okay, this is good! I come in and we make ourselves comfortable in each others arms. Okay so this is getting better as we go...although he could just be trying to soften the blow. He then says "I hadn't wanted to do this...but when you told me about how everything was going with your apartment situation...this thought crossed my mind...but I decided against it because I thought it was such a huge step. Well I was thinking at the time of moving to our own apartment together...but since my roomate situation will be changing soon and now you and Chino aren't going to be moving in I thought you might want to take over his lease when he leaves.
