Goddesses need love too
I suppose the title of my blog may seem pretentious to many. And to some it may make perfect sense. In any event I still want to take this opportunity to tell you why it was named so. Goddesses are always getting offers of love, but mostly sex. Well we need more...we need love too. It seems that we never do get that. We get doted upon, most men will tell us how beautiful we are...but they never really see the inner person that screams out to be loved. That has been my plight for most of my exsitance. Always being told how pretty you are, how sweet , how nice, how understanding, and thoughtful of others needs. I get asked out on dates. I have had dates. I am wondering about love, and all they want is sex, and see ya later! And I just have to say...I am sick of it. I have to put my foot down for once and tell you all...I need LOVE! I give it everywhere, to anyone who needs it. In a smile, or a kind word, in a gently comforting touch. In my actions in my thoughts and words. I would just like to get some of it back. Does that seem petty? Am I wrong? You see just asking that question is like death.
